January 26th, 2020 Kobe Bryant and his daughters death devastates basketball players and fans across the globe. I myself not being the biggest of followers of Kobe's career was even effected in more ways than I realized at the time. Headlines covering the 5x NBA Champion's death were all one could see on any news network or social media platform for days. People from all different walks of life came out to show their respects to Kobe, his daughter Gigi, who was only thirteen at the time, and seven other passengers who were victims in the tragic helicopter crash early that Sunday morning. Kobe has truly lived out an amazing career in the NBA playing for the LA Lakers for twenty years until he retired in 2016. Kobe has touched so many of the lives of players in the NBA as well as fans across the world. He has left a lasting change on the world of professional athletics. Now we remember him for the life his has lived as a player, father, and for his love for the game of basketball.
